Primary 1B thoroughly enjoyed helping design art work for the Boghall Primary float during an after school club.  They did a great job! Well done Primary 1!

We had a super time during our first ever assembly and agreed that everyone tried so hard to use lovely clear voices. Our costumes and props looked super, especially learning ladybird and successful spider. We really enjoyed singing songs and saying our lines to a big audience. Thanks to all the parents, carers, family and friends who came along to watch us today. It was great to see Mrs Newton-Stott and little Sam there too!

1st star – We loved doing our very first assembly! We thought that we all used lovely clear voices and tried really hard.

2nd star – We have enjoyed learning about numbers that go together to make 10. We love singing our number bus song!

Wish – We would like to find out more about people who help us next week.

1st star – We have enjoyed learning about the story of 7 and finding lots of different ways to make 7.

2nd star – We enjoyed using wow words in our writing to describe Mr and Mrs Twit.

Wish – We would like to practise for our assembly next week (26th of Feb).

P1 have been working hard at their phonics sounds.  Look at their super writing of the sounds! Amazing!

1st star – We have loved working in our structured activity groups and especially enjoyed painting our tartan kilts.

2nd star – We have enjoyed writing independently and we all tried so hard that Miss Napier had to send the WHOLE class on a positive visit!

Wish – To learn how to count in French.

Star 1: We really enjoyed doing number activities on the Nintendo DS’s this week, we had big brains!

Star 2: We really enjoyed listening to the Scottish poems at the super Scottish assembly, everyone did  a great job!

Wish: We wish for more golden time in our class.

Star 1: We loved learning how to use the laptops in class, we were very good at it!

Star 2: We enjoyed learning how to add numbers and the dice game was really fun!

Wish: We wish we could get more Lego in our classroom.

1st Star – We enjoyed writing about Katie Morag and came up with lots of super sentences about her.

2nd Star – We enjoyed exploring sounds in music and particularly enjoyed using our voices to make high and low sounds.

Wish – We would like to do more adding with Baker Napier and learn more about addition.

1st star – We enjoyed writing our Scottish poems in our writing jotters. We sounded out each word to help us write!

2nd star – We enjoyed learning about the 3 jobs of addition and have been working really hard in class to understand how to add.

Wish – Next week we would like to get even better at saying our Scottish poems.
