P3 pupils from P4/3 were practising their joined handwriting by creating Christmas cards. They designed the front cover and had to write the message on the front and the inside using joined handwriting. They look fantastic!
Boghall Primary has a link with Renoir Primary, Cran Gevrier, France. P5 received letters from some of the French pupils and have enjoyed translating them! It is really helping us to learn French.
A Field of Poppies
Last week Primary 3 took notes from the Poppy Scotland website during writing time. This activity helped them appreciate the significance of the poppy. During an expressive arts lesson they recreated their own fields of poppies using a dabbing technique with their paintbrushes. Their finished pictures were fantastic.
Primary 3 have had great fun creating their own class book about Owls.
