P3 and P4/3 were learning about the symbols of Easter yesterday. The discussed the Last Supper and thought about what it meant. They then thought about what they would like to eat and who they would like to have with them if it was their own last supper. Pupils painted their own version of their last supper.

Aladdin Rehearsals
Today, Primary 7, Primary 7/6 and Primary 6 performed the dress rehearsal of Aladdin Jr to the rest of the school. It was a great success and Primary 1-3 thoroughly enjoyed watching the older boys and girls on stage. They performed with such confidence and expression! We can’t wait for the real deal next week! Here are some photos of us working hard, preparing for the show…

African Music arrives in Boghall!
Low Port Residential visit
What a great time the children had at Low Port, Linlithgow. Â Lots of fun and new learning.
On behalf of the parents and children who attended I would like to thank the staff for agreeing to leave their families to make it all happen – without them we couldn’t offer this experience.
The children who remained in school for their alternative few days have been very busy also – cake decorating / learning how to play ukelele / being crafty etc.
We will share photos later.
Boghall Primary turns red for Red Nose Day !
What a fabulous day we had last Friday. Â Many thanks to Miss Armstrong and the Pupil Council for organising our special activities.
We raised a brilliant £457 – wow !
P3 and Mrs Seawright started us off with an assembly and then we went off to have some fun.
Here are some photos from the assembly and our ‘Bake Off ‘. Â Don’t the pupils look different in red ! Â No purple to be found. Check out our photos of the mini fun day we had in the hall. What a fun way to raise money for Comic Relief!

Weighing in kilograms
Mrs Williamson’s maths group were learning about kilograms in maths this week. They were introduced to balance scales and the units kg and g. Their challenge was to find objects in the classroom which weighed exactly 1kg. There weren’t many objects which weighed exactly 1kg so they had to improvise with lots of lighter objects grouped together.
