1st star – We enjoyed our school trip to the cinema to see Home. We also liked remembering about the people who fought and died in the war.
2nd star – We enjoyed making our ice cream cones using different shades and tones of colour.
Wish – We would love to do more cooking
1st Star- We all really enjoyed going to the cinema with the whole school.
2nd Star- We enjoyed adding black and white to a colour to change it.
Wish – We wish to learn some science.

This week during reading Primary 3’s have been looking at a non fiction book called Food As Art. From this they were asked to create their own food picture. The P2s joined in with this activity by looking at their own book and choosing a suitable picture that they could create from the same materials. They had great fun creating their pictures.
On Friday morning we welcomed P6 and P7 pupils back from Dalguise. They looked happy …. but tired !
I would like to thank the 3 members of staff – Mrs Ireland, Mrs Thomson and Mrs Williamson – on behalf of the pupils , parents and school.
As I am sure you understand, without their willingness to leave their homes and families for this time, we would not be able to go.
Many thanks also to staff who organised the ‘Alternative Week’ in week in school – it was great too.
I am looking forward to seeing what they have been up to on Friday at their assembly.
1st star – We enjoyed creating our firework picture using bright paint and glitter.
2nd star – We enjoyed listening to the Katy Perry song and doing a cloze procedure activity with it.
1 Wish – We want to learn about Remembrance Day.

2nd Star- We enjoyed learning to change font, size and colour of text on a computer.

Second star – Making poppies for Remembrance Day
Wish – For EVERYBODY to do all of their homework!
1st star We enjoyed learning about the Grain Chain by doing lots of different activities.
2nd star We liked finding out about the Rainforest during the P3 Assembly.
Wish We are looking forward to the cinema trip next week.
