The standard of Literacy Circles homework to improve from last week.
* We enjoyed creating mindmaps about British soldiers in World War One for our IDL.
*Challenge Friday was fun. We had to get our team to guess a word without saying certain other words.
!We want to play football with Mrs Williamson next week.
First star – doing our healthy eating assembly, we really enjoyed it!

Getting it right for every child is a Scottish Government led approach which ensures that any organisation working with children and young people provides an environment where they can grow and develop to reach their full potential. Getting it right for every child is core to our visions and values here at Boghall Primary school.
Primary 7/6 have been developing their Map skills by locating different features of Scotland, UK and the wider world on a map. They had to draw symbols of key features such as mountain ranges, capital cities, rivers and highest peaks from around the world. They then had to try and name different capital cities. This will help them to identify the countries involved in the Second World War. Here are a few photos of them in action…

1st Star- We have enjoyed beginning to learn our lines and songs for the Nativity
2nd Stars- Learning to introduce ourselves in French.
Wish- To copy and paste another picture onto a word document.
* Maths- It was challenging and fun!
*Creating posters about Figurative Language- (RAMPSO)
Wish- To have another week as good as this one. We were fantastic and learned a lot!
First star – finding out what happened to our chicken bone which had been in vinegar for a whole week. It was very soft and bendy because it did not have as much calcium left inside.
Second star – Meeting bony Tony while learning about the human skeleton!
Wish – To get a word search on Ancient Egypt!
*We loved going to the cinema yesterday.
*We liked starting learning about World War 1
