1st star – We enjoyed making our New Year’s resolution mobile.
2nd Star – We enjoyed making our eatwell plates. We had to place the right foods into the correct food groups.
Wish – To continue reading the book Dinosaur Safari.

The p6/5 classroom had a lovely Christmas spice aroma after making our Christmas callenigs this week. We found out about callenigs when opening our online advent calendar which shows Christmas traditions from different countries around the world. Callenigs are a traditional new year gift in Wales and P6/5 decided they wanted to try and make them. The base is an apple and you then use cocktail sticks to create legs and decorate with cloves and cinnamon. They look good and smell amazing!
P6/5 had a lot of fun and looked very Christmassy after making hats for Christmas lunch day. A lot of pupils and staff were wearing Christmas jumpers and they then designed and created their own hats to wear when the Christmas Elf came to conga them to lunch! The designs were very creative, including some beards and antlers!
1st Star – We loved our Nativity.
2nd Star – We loved our online Advent Calendar where we find out about Christmas around the world. We also loved Miss Gaughan’s science lessons on our senses.
Wish – That Miss Gaughan would stay at our school.
* We liked seeing the nativity dress rehearsal.
* We enjoyed making Christmas cards for the competition.
! To play sports with Mrs Williamson.
* We liked making comparison maps of Europe in 1914 and in 2015.
* We enjoyed finding out that the school show is The Lion King.
! We want to do some baking.
1st Star: We enjoyed our mile a day outside during PE this week!
2nd Star: We enjoyed making stained glass windows in art using our knowledge of shapes to help us. They look fabulous on our windows!
Wish: We would like to learn more shapes in maths.
1st star- We have enjoyed learning about the senses in science.
2nd star- Primary 3/2 have enjoyed learning about Christmas around the world using our advent calendar.
Wish- We would like to do more Christmas activities next week.
First star – Primary 4 really enjoyed the story telling at Boghall Primary on Monday.
Second star – Primary 4 loved when they turned Zak into a mummy!
Wish- Primary 4 would like to play rounders in P.E with Miss Hunter.
