P4 two stars and a wish!
First star – making a start on choir practice for The Lion King.
Second star – Playing dodge-ball and practising catching and throwing with Miss Hunter in P.E
Our wish – For everyone to memorise their Scots poem and have actions for it.
P3/2 – Dinosuars
P3/2 are very excited about their new topic. Before learning all about dinosaurs they have been learning what earth looked like billions of years ago. This is very complicated information to understand but they have been successful in creating posters about some of the different time periods.
Fairtrade
P1 and P4/3 joined together to organise a very successful stall at the Christmas Fayre. Both classes worked hard to collect Fairtrade items for the tombola and the children helped to organise and run the stall. It was very busy and the prizes went very quickly. Well done to all that helped and thanks to those who came along to buy tombola tickets.
Christmas fun!
Primary 1 had lots of fun at their Christmas party. They had a few special visitors including a surprise visit from Mickey and Minnie! Everyone looked wonderful in their party outfits and there were lots of super dance moves! They were so excited when Santa turned up and gave everyone a present.
McTivity 2015
Primary 1 loved taking part in the McTivity, a Scottish version of the Nativity story. They all did a fabulous job and looked very cute on the stage. The show was a great success and we received lots of positive feedback. Thanks to all who supported us and came along.
P4/3 Visit to Tesco
P4/3 visited Tesco recently. Tracy and Paul from Tesco took us on the Farm to Fork tour. We found out where food comes from and we even got to taste different kinds of food! At the end our visit we were given a goody bag with lots of games and information. Thank you Tesco!
P6/5 2 Stars and a Wish
* We enjoyed playing corner football in P.E.
* We liked challenge Friday this week with our lego challenge.
! We want to play more corner football.
P4/3 Two Stars and a Wish
1st Star We all enjoyed designing our own tartans this week.
2nd Star The P3s had fun at the NYCOS workshop and the P4s really liked helping the P2s with Eatwell Plate Activities.
Wish We are looking forward to doing more Scottish Activities next week.
