Primary 3/2 have been having fun this week learning about the history and traditions of Halloween. We created our own dancing skeletons using cotton buds.
P6 two stars and a wish
Star – Our fantastic class talks! We have learned so much about inspiring people such as Nelson Mandela, Millicent Fawcett, Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman!
Star – Maths this week – from estimating the height of the classroom door to rounding 4 digit numbers!
Wish – That we all have an amazing week at Dalguise and during alternative week!
P3/2 – 2 stars and 1 wish
1st Star – We enjoyed dancing to the Ghostbusters song during PE.
2nd Star – We enjoyed making our dancing skeletons.
1 wish – We would love to do more PE with Mrs Lloyd.
P6/5 2 Stars and a Wish
- We enjoyed challenge Friday, making origami witches hats!
- We liked creating Autumn artwork, mixing Autumnal colours and putting tree silhouettes on top.
- We want to play rounders soon.
P3 Two Stars and a Wish
1st Star: We are excited to start our new Citizenship interdisciplinary learning and have been enjoying our daily dilemma. We enjoy sharing our opinions and listening to each other.
2nd Star: This week we got a new team member in our class! We have had great fun getting to know him and introducing him to our learning.
Wish: We would like to do some firework art!
P5/4 Two stars and a wish
* P5/4 welcomed a new pupil to their class this week. We hope you enjoyed your first week at Boghall Primary Leah.
* We enjoyed stretching our brains with mild, spicy and hot maths tasks this week. We also liked being creative when making chalk drawings of spooky castles.
We are looking forward to the P5 assembly next week

We have had another busy week in P5.

Star 1 : Designing Mehndi hand patterns as part of our learning about the Hindu festival Dawali! 🙂
Star 2: Learning about the Hindu story of Rama and Sita. 🙂 🙂
Wish for next term: To do some more Haiku poems. 🙂
Weekly Awards
This week’s Star of the Week is Sophie Kirkwood. Sophie was nominated by Jenna-Leigh for always putting 100% into her work and having lovely manners. Well done Sophie!
Our Class Lottery winners were Morgan (on holiday!), Freya (on holiday!) …. we finally got a winner who was in class today! Well done Ellise! 🙂 Morgan and Freya will get to choose a prize when they return to class.
