We have had a very busy week in P5.  We had Hop Skotch in on Tuesday to perform Aladin.  We all really enjoyed the panto.  We also had an opportunity to watch the infant nativity on Wednesday.  All they children were extremely cute and did a fantastic job!  Well done to all the P1, P2 and P3s.

Star 1:  Using our ICT and research skills to find out information about Christmas traditions around the world.  We have really enjoyed using the new iPads minis 🙂

Star 2: Using our creativity to design and make 3D diarama models.

(Charlie’s wish was for EVERYONE to have a Happy Christmas!)

Wish:  To do some Christmas cooking/baking.

1st Star – We enjoyed the Hopscotch theatre visit.  The Aladdin pantomime was great.

2nd Star –  We enjoyed doing our Christmas activities.  We did a Christmas word search and made melted snowmen using biscuits and marshmallows.  We also made a melted snowman using battery operated candles and white card.

Wish –  We want to do more maths learning about greater than and less than.

 

P5/4 – Two star and a wish

1st star – This week we really enjoyed watching the pantomime of Aladdin performed by the Hopscotch Theatre Company. We thought it was very funny!

2nd star – We watched Hairspray on DVD with P4 and P5. We had a great time listening to all the songs and watching the dances that will be in our school show next year.

Wish – We are looking forward to our Christmas party next week as we have been working our ceilidh dancing in the hall.

First star:  We had our last NYCOS session with Mrs Gray on Thursday and it was great! We played lots of fun games and even got a sticker from her!

Second star:  Reading our Christmas class story, ‘The Christmasaurus’ – it’s really funny!

Our wish:  To do some Christmas cooking!

1st Star: We enjoyed writing our snow globe stories and drawing a picture to match.

2nd Star: We had a great time at our Christmas lunch and having some festive fun!

Wish:  We hope that everyone feels better and we make sure we wash our hands properly.
