P3 Two Stars and a Wish

1st Star: We really enjoyed playing and singing music games with Mrs Curl from NYCOS.

2nd Star: We learned about a famous Scottish artist called Charles Rennie McIntosh and we designed our own roses to display in the cloakroom.

Wish: We are looking forward to learning more about the ways we can read digital time.

P3 Two Stars and a Wish

1st Star: We enjoyed using the net books to access Glow and One Drive. We can use it at home now!

2nd Star: We have been learning about symmetry. We know that both sides have to be the same and that lines of symmetry can be diagonal, horizontal and vertical.

Wish: We are excited to do a science experiment all about materials. We have been learning about materials that are natural and synthetic.

1 wish –  We would love to start learning our times tables.

We have had a great start to our New Year.

P3 Two Stars and a Wish

2nd Star: We are learning to read new Scottish poems and can’t wait to read them to everyone at home and in class.

Wish:  We are looking forward to learning more about Onedrive and using our Glow passwords.

P6 and P7 Business Enterprise Awards Ceremony

What a busy few terms it has been for P6 and P7. We have been busy with our Business Enterprise, running a range of different businesses at breaks and lunch times and also at the Christmas Fayre. We all worked so hard and would like to share with you what we have been up to at our awards ceremony. All parents/ carers of P6 and P7 pupils are invited to attend on Tuesday 10th January from 1.45pm. The children are allowed to wear their best clothes for the event. We hope to see you then.

Congratulations Choir!

An amazing well done to the Choir who managed to raise an amazing £389 in just one day! Half of the Choir went to Tesco with Miss Napier and the other half to Aegon with Miss Potter and sang very loudly and very confidently to lots of people! Both Miss Napier and Miss Potter would like to thank the Choir for their perfect behavior and lovely manners when we were out representing our school. Also a huge thank you to Mrs Duncan for driving the minibus!

Two stars and a wish for P6!

This week we really enjoyed the Aladdin Pantomime (Oh yes we did!), especially when the characters were dabbing! We had fun outside measuring the distance between planets and the sun, but scaled down to meters instead of thousands of kilometers! Getting to watch the Nativity practice was really great too – well done P1, 2 and 3!

Star – Our awesomely decorated classroom door – great design idea Calvin and Jenna!
