Last week in P2 we had great time making pizzas as part of our Katie Morag topic. We even had haggis as a topping!
Reminder 1! The Katie Morag models are to be brought into school on Thursday. Parents who want to attend the open afternoon then can see all the models and join in with more learning.
Our first assembly will be Friday 21st of April.
1st Star – We have enjoyed learning about how to sell Roman villas.
2nd Star – We enjoyed learning about money. We have had to practise hard learning how to give correct change.
Wish – To paint a Roman Villa.
1st Star: In numeracy we have been learning how to share a number equally into groups.
2nd Star: We really enjoyed making Roman mosaics. We worked as a team to complete our pictures. They look fab!
Wish: We can’t wait to finish our Roman Villa For Sale adverts and start building our own models!
1st star – We have enjoyed writing instructions this week. We were able to write instructions about how to wash our hands.
2nd star – We enjoyed learning about schools in the olden days and comparing them to schools nowadays.
Wish – We would like to learn more about the olden days and have a look at toys from the past.
1st Star: We have enjoyed learning about time intervals.
2nd Star: We enjoyed making our Roman buildings from K’Nex.
Wish: We would like to do Roman art.

We were all very sad to say goodbye to our student Miss Hoggan. We have all really enjoyed having her as part of our class and would like to wish her all the very best for the future. And who knows, we might see her again soon!!
We did enjoy Miss Hoggan’s surprise farewell party though 🙂 🙂 And even Mrs Ireland popped in to share in on the fun.

1st Star: We really enjoyed making our own switches using blue tac, pins and paperclips in Science.
2nd Star: This week we also finished our structured activities, meaning that everyone got a chance to try each activity based on Scottish Inventors/inventions.
Wish: We wish Miss Duncan all the best in her new class after the February break.
Miss Duncan’s wish: I hope that P5/4 keep working really hard and continue to learn and have fun!!
