A reminder that each Tuesday P5A will be participating in outdoor PE and Outdoor Learning lessons.
This will be happening regardless of the weather, so please be mindful of the clothes your child wears in our unpredictable Scottish climate!

On 21 May, which should have been the next Outdoor Classroom Day, we’re inviting you to celebrate your connection to the natural world by taking part in a variety of activities at home. Connecting to nature can restore our sense of wellbeing. For children, this connection is best made through play – whether outdoors in nature or indoors with natural elements. Please follow the link below for a range of ideas!
https://outdoorclassroomday.org.uk/resources/
If it’s possible or you have the space, children could spend time playing outdoors on the day. Whatever you do, share it on social media on 21 May using #PlayfulNature tagging @BoghallPsch
Why not get involved in this competition with a chance to win a digital microscope! All you need to do is research and create a piece of work on a mini beast of your choice. Please remember to follow the latest Government advice and maintain social distancing. You’ll be surprised with what you can find in your garden or even in your house! Entries should be emailed to rebecca@ase.org.uk by the 12th June.

The BBC have put together a fantastic range of resources to support home learning. We really like this one today- It’s all about Rosa Parks. Just click on your child’s age and or stage to get relevant resources.
If you are looking for a fun, engaging way of supporting reading at home, we recommend this site. You can also download the app on to your device. It is completely free at the moment!https://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/
