P1-3 free school meals

What a great chance in January – save some money !

Since we came back after Christmas all P1-3 children have been entitled to free school meals.

This amount really adds up – so take the chance to save some money.

The menu for meals can be found at the right hand side  – information – then click on the link to the menu.

West Lothian Foodbank Collection

Thank you so much for all the donations today and yesterday.  We are thrilled with the amount.

Thanks also to those who offered to deliver the items to the Foodbank – it was very generous.

However we have had to leave it until it is collected here on Tuesday – as there will be no-one in the collection point to accept it.

As always the community of Boghall ‘dig deep’ to help others !   Well done and thanks.

Choir trip to Aegon

Many thanks to the facilities Management staff at Aegon for inviting us again to sing for the Aegon staff during Christmas Lunches.  We all had a lovely time singing.

An added bonus was that we collected £333.30 in our collecting buckets – many thanks to all who contributed !

We hope they can come to see the Nativity at School.

URGENT HELP NEEDED

We are still having problems with people not phoning us when their child is absent.  You must call us as soon as possible.

As you know we do not finish until 3.20pm on Tuesday 23rd December – it is really important that you phone with absences even if it is the last day.

Christmas Lunch at Boghall today !

Many thanks to our cook Carolynn Aitken and her team for a fantastic day.   They worked so hard to prepare for this special lunch – what a team effort !

Thanks also to Morgan Baker and his family for their generous donation with which we bought a new Christmas Tree and decorations.  You will see from our photos that we all had a fabulous time.

Nativity by P1-3

This event takes place on Friday 19th December at 9.30am.  Coffee/tea will be available from 9.00am.

We do not charge for this event but would like people to make a donation of items of food (not fresh – tins or packets only)

which we will donate to the West Lothian Food Bank.

Thanks for your support – hopefully we can make things better for some families during this ‘season of goodwill’.

Below are some of the drawings from our P1 children of what the Nativity will look like.

P6, P7/6 and P7 Business Enterprise

As part of our ongoing Business Enterprise programme ‘Plant a seed, cultivate an idea, reap the rewards’ some businesses had a stall at the Christmas Fayre. This week we were all busy planning our stall, prices, stock and marketing. We were delighted with the amount of sales from only 2 hours of selling. We have made an impressive £477 so far. Selling continues next week in school at break/lunch at the main door. Be quick, as stock is selling fast!
