Tomorrow, there will be a coffee morning at Boghall Primary School for pupils, parents and members of the community. The coffee morning will take place in the school hall from 10.15am until 12pm. The coffee morning will take place to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

There will be a selection of cakes for sale, home baking, tea, coffee and juice ranging from 10p to £1.

There will also be games such as ‘Spot the Cake’ for 20p a guess. A ‘baked or faked’ game will also be played in every classroom for the pupils and is 50p a go. In this game, you will be blindfolded and you have to taste a bit of cake and decide if it was baked or faked. Faked meaning that it was bought in a shop!

1st star   We enjoyed learning about grid references this week because it helps us read maps.

2nd star  We liked making good luck cards for Mrs Barr.

Wish   We wish Mrs Barr wasn’t leaving but we would like to send her our best wishes to her for the future.

Star:  We had great fun performing at our assembly this week.  It was all about Internet Safety.  We are now more aware of how we should behave online.

Star:  We really enjoyed P.E. with Miss Hunter this week. We love being fit and healthy.

Wish:  We wish that Mrs Barr wasn’t leaving but we also wish her good luck for the future.

1st Star – P5’s Internet Safety assembly was great and very interesting!

2nd Star – Learning about the Earth, Moon and Sun and creating our posters

Wish – We wish Mrs Barr all the best for the future! We will miss her very much!

1st star- We enjoyed designing a pirate

2nd star- We enjoyed writing acrostic poems about pirates.

Wish – To use the boxes we have brought in for something.

1st Star – Playing basketball outside in the sunshine

2nd Star – Starting our kidnapped theme and completing Missions 1, 2 and 3
