P6 and P7 Business Enterprise Awards Ceremony

What a busy few terms it has been for P6 and P7. We have been busy with our Business Enterprise, running a range of different businesses at breaks and lunch times and also at the Christmas Fayre. We all worked so hard and would like to share with you what we have been up to at our awards ceremony. All parents/ carers of P6 and P7 pupils are invited to attend on Tuesday 10th January from 1.45pm. The children are allowed to wear their best clothes for the event. We hope to see you then.

Two stars and a wish for P6!

This week we really enjoyed the Aladdin Pantomime (Oh yes we did!), especially when the characters were dabbing! We had fun outside measuring the distance between planets and the sun, but scaled down to meters instead of thousands of kilometers! Getting to watch the Nativity practice was really great too – well done P1, 2 and 3!

Star – Our awesomely decorated classroom door – great design idea Calvin and Jenna!

Wish – We wish all the other classes a super merry Christmas!

Primary 5

We have had a very busy week in P5.  We had Hop Skotch in on Tuesday to perform Aladin.  We all really enjoyed the panto.  We also had an opportunity to watch the infant nativity on Wednesday.  All they children were extremely cute and did a fantastic job!  Well done to all the P1, P2 and P3s.

Star 1:  Using our ICT and research skills to find out information about Christmas traditions around the world.  We have really enjoyed using the new iPads minis 🙂

Star 2: Using our creativity to design and make 3D diarama models.

(Charlie’s wish was for EVERYONE to have a Happy Christmas!)

Wish:  To do some Christmas cooking/baking.

P2/ 1 Reflections

We really enjoyed making the owl pictures and learning about other animals that are nocturnal.

We also enjoyed the Friendship Bingo and getting to know even more about our friends in class. dscn1963dscn1958

We are all looking forward to next week’s Christmas Lunch!

Support with getting an e-mail account/accessing our blog

We know that some families do not have access to e-mail but we can help you with this.  Kelly Drummond in the Community Wing – will set you up with an e-mail address using the free access computers in the wing.  She can also show you how to access iPayimpact for school meals – and this number also allows you to access all council serices.  While there she will show you how to access the school blog.

P6 two stars and a wish

This week we have enjoyed tricky maths questions using timetables to work out TV, bus and train times. We enjoyed our Business Enterprise, selling to other classes and running our super fun lunch time clubs. We researched Victorian children and used the information to have a debate with P6/5. Book day was super good fun, especially getting to dress up and have our parents watch us complete challenge Friday!

Star – We have enjoyed writing Victorian diaries, pretending we were either very rich or very poor.

Star – We have enjoyed practicing our assembly for next week!

Wish – We wish that the Christmas Fair goes really well!
