National Book Week – Library Poster Competition

Well done to Chloe Thornton (P4), Jaimie Luker (P4) and Hannah Sloan (P6) for winning the Library poster competition! We asked boys and girls throughout the school to create new advertising posters for the library in the hope for more visitors. We were overwhelmed with fantastic entries and struggled to narrow them down. In the end, we managed to choose our top 3! As a reward, the girls will get to choose their very own brand new book to keep! Well done again! Keep an eye out for your posters around the school and community wing.

Very Successful Open Morning!

Thank you to everyone who managed to pop along to our Open Morning today. It was great to see such a brilliant turn out of parents/ carers, aunties, uncles and grandparents! We asked you to describe what you could see, hear and feel as you made your way through the school and it is lovely to see such positive feedback. We really appreciate your time and your comments are extremely beneficial.

Magic Munchie Monday 6.11.17

Well done to this week’s Magic Munchie Monday lot! Your teachers have been very impressed with your effort and it was lovely to hear you all share what you’ve been working hard on. A lot of you this week have been doing fantastic story writing. Some of you were resilient in Maths and kept trying even though you found it tricky! Keep it up!

Class Newsletters

Our Term 1 class newsletters are now on the blog. They can be found in the ‘Class Newsletters’ section on the right hand side of the main page.

The newsletters are a chance for you to see a snippet of what your child’s class has been learning about each term.

Magic Munchie Monday!

We have started a new incentive in the school called Magic Munchie Monday!

Every Monday, one pupil from each class will be selected to come along to our Magic Munchie Monday. During play time, they will come along to the Gr8 Place and have a nice warm cup of hot chocolate and a biscuit whilst chatting with Mrs Duncan and Miss Armstrong about what they’ve been doing well in.

For the next few weeks the focus for Magic Munchie Monday is forĀ effort. Teachers and Pupil Support Workers are keeping an eye out for pupils who have been working especially hard and trying their very best.

Well done to this week’s Magic Munchie Monday nominees. It was lovely to hear how much effort you have been putting in across all different areas of the curriculum!
