Primary 7/6 had great fun last week taking their learning outdoors. It was great to sit in the sunshine and share our literacy circles homework. We’re hoping for more of the same in the next few weeks…
WISH- To keep our class points at zero in the fun day challenge.
Primary 7/6 made a variety of Easter themed activities to share with Primary 1. We made Easter chick hanging decorations, Easter themed board games and Easter greeting cards. We loved spending some time with them and sharing what we had made. We hope Primary 1a and Primary 1b enjoyed themselves too!
We had lots of fun today raising money for Sports Relief and it was a massive success! We raised a whopping £342!  There were lots of different sporty activities in the hall including; beat the goalie, score a basket, hoopla and a hula hoop competition. The winner was Jenna-Leigh who lasted over 9 minutes!
Every class also took part in a ‘sporty’ themed Challenge Friday. Some classes played the ‘over and under’ game to see who could make the most passes in 2 minutes. Others tried to throw bean bags into different sized hoops.
Thank you to the Pupil Council for helping organise today’s events and spending their time helping others at the stalls. Also thanks to everyone for their kind donations. The money raised has gone to an excellent cause.
On Wednesday 16th March Boghall Primary School choir were involved in their first recording session.
West Lothian band Savage Cut have been working with the choir  to  produce a new song.
The band – Liam and John Innes, Gaz Davis and Brian Kiernan – asked the school’s choir to provide a vocal backdrop to a new recording. And they say they want the children to have a real say in how the song will sound.
Pupils worked together to create the vocals, rhythms and melodies for the song written in collaboration with the band.
The recording session went well and we are all looking forward to hearing the final edit of their song.
Well done to all involved!
Pupils from P5, 6 and 7 attended the latest round of the Bathgate Schools Football League Festival this week. They played really well and won two games and drew one. Unfortunately they lost one game. Well done to all players.
* We really enjoyed watching our buddies in their first assembly today. They were fantastic. Well done Primary 1B.
*We had a fantastic rehearsal of the show in the hall. It was the best rehearsal yet. It was good to be able to use the stage. The choir were amazing!
