This week it was the turn of P4/3 for the Procession Float After School Club. They all worked very hard and we can’t wait to see the finished product at Bathgate Procession on Saturday 4th June!

Bonjour!
The pupils of P4/3 were very excited to receive letters from Renoir Primary today. This is our twin school in Cran Gevrier, France. We can’t wait to write back!
P4/3 Two Stars and a wish
1st star – We have enjoyed our ICT lessons this week. We have used the netbooks to create powerpoints, the DSs to stretch our brains, the Glow Meet to share information and the smartboard to help us with fractions.
2nd star – We were very excited to receive letters from some pupils of Renoir Primary School in France .
Wish – We are looking forward to writing letters to the pupils of Renoir Primary School.
P 3/2 – 2 stars and 1 wish
1st Star – We have enjoyed doing subtraction in maths.
2nd Star – We enjoyed creating a flag banner to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday,
Wish – We would love to get a class pet.
Primary 3 Two Stars and a Wish
1st Star: We enjoyed making paper planes using our own instructions.
2nd Star: We had fun spelling words using our French alphabet and wrote them down with chalk in the playground.
Wish: Next week we would like everybody to do all of their homework.
P3/2 – 2 Stars and 1 wish
1st Star – We loved our visit to Dynamic Earth.
2nd Star – We enjoyed practising our handwriting
Wish – We would love to have more cooking.
P4/3 Two stars and a wish
1st star We really enjoyed performing at this week’s assembly. It was good to share what we have been learning with the whole school.
2nd star We had fun when drawing Dracula’s castle for art. We had to think about line, shape, texture and pattern to create a spooky atmosphere.
Wish We hope that everyone continues to make progress with Maths Minutes and Number of the Day activities.
Primary 3 Two Stars and a Wish
1st Star: We have enjoyed practicing ways of taking notes in literacy and finding new ways to use them.
2nd Star: We were excited to start new interdisciplinary learning this week, focusing on our local area and use of the land.
Wish: We are looking forward to starting our literacy circle homework with our reading.
P 3/2 and P2 – Trip to Dynamic Earth
Both classes have just returned from an exciting adventure to Dynamic Earth. The children enjoyed a tour round the galleries which included looking at time travelling, the big bang, volcanic eruptions, the ice age and the rainforest. They took part in the Dinosaur Detective and Dinosaur Adventure workshops looking at dinosaur fossils. Thank you Dynamic Earth for a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The P3’s were able to enjoy a short walk to look at the Scottish Parliament building, Holyrood Palace and Arthurs’s Seat as well.
P4/3 Two stars and a wish
1st star – We enjoyed taking part in the activities for Sports Relief. Well done to the Pupil Council.
2nd star – We liked the P3 assembly all about Ancient Egypt. It was fun doing Just Dance!
Wish – We are looking forward to meeting the chicks.
