Primary 3 Two Stars and a Wish

1st Star: We have enjoyed practicing ways of taking notes in literacy and finding new ways to use them.

2nd Star: We were excited to start new interdisciplinary learning this week, focusing on our local area and use of the land.

Wish: We are looking forward to starting our literacy circle homework with our reading.

Primary 3 Two Stars and a Wish

1st Star: We were very excited to win the Fair Trade Banana Class Competition!

2nd Star: We achieved success during a tricky maths session and we are proud we can do something new during our subtraction tasks.

Wish: We can’t wait to share our Egyptian assembly with the rest of the school on Friday.

1st Star: We started our literacy circles in class and enjoyed a talk from the primary fives on how to complete the tasks.

2nd Star: We achieved a Head Teacher Award for making our new classmate feel welcome.

Wish: We cant wait to finish our Egyptian headdress to wear at our assembly.

1st Star: We painted our Scarab Beetles beautiful colours just like the Egyptians did!

2nd Star: We have been practicing our listening skills and using them to take part in a fun game.

Wish: We would like to make a fruit salad using our French fruit names to help us with the recipe!

1st Star: We had a great time making Scarab Beetles from clay. The Egyptians used Scarab Beetles as lucky charms!

2nd Star: We have really enjoyed doing addition in maths this week, especially learning Egyptian numbers and solving tricky sums!

Wish: We can’t wait to paint our Scarab Beetles yellow, green, blue and red to symbolise the sun, growing things and the River Nile.

P3 Two Stars and a Wish

1st Star: We had great fun learning about Egyptian Mummies and making some in class!

2nd Star: We wrote excellent tiger stories by sorting real information and using this to create something new.

Wish: We would like to learn our French alphabet this week.
