1st Star – We enjoyed taking part in the MacMillan coffee morning and eating all the delicious cakes!
2nd Star – We had fun taking part in the weekly mile.

1st star: We used chalk to create beautiful Toucan pictures from the rainforest.
2nd star: We learned about colours in French.

2nd star We liked making good luck cards for Mrs Barr.
Wish We wish Mrs Barr wasn’t leaving but we would like to send her our best wishes to her for the future.

2nd Star We have had fun keeping fit this week by walking for a mile and by having P.E. in the hall with Mrs Coutts.

The pupils of P5 were delighted to have a visit from Mrs Kerwin, the Chairperson of the Bathgate Cran-Gevrier Twinning Association. Mrs Kerwin provided lots of information about the twinning organisation and pupils enjoyed looking at brochures from Cran-Gevrier. The following week, they enjoyed some tasty French food as part of their French lesson. Bon Appetit!
As part of our continuing work as a level two Rights Respecting School, our two pupil assessors spoke to the whole school. This term all pupils are being asked their opinions on new charters for the dinner hall and playground. Dinner hall and playground staff will also be consulted about these charters as it is important that we all agree on what we should do to help keep everyone happy, healthy and safe.
The photographs show some primary 6 and 7 pupils working together to decide on relevant articles for the playground charter and our pupil assessors speaking at assembly.
Primary 5 pupils have been working in teams to make posters to share with our link school in Cran Gevrier, France.
