It’s been a different sort of week for P5/4 this week.
The P4s really enjoyed all the activities during P4 alternative week either in school or at Lowport Centre in Linlithgow. You will be able to find out more about this at next week’s assembly.
The P5s have had the opportunity to work with a variety of different teachers this week. They particularly enjoyed making pancakes with Miss Potter.
All of P5/4 are looking forward to learning more new vocabulary to improve their writing.
1st Star: We really enjoyed making our own switches using blue tac, pins and paperclips in Science.
2nd Star: This week we also finished our structured activities, meaning that everyone got a chance to try each activity based on Scottish Inventors/inventions.
Wish: We wish Miss Duncan all the best in her new class after the February break.
Miss Duncan’s wish: I hope that P5/4 keep working really hard and continue to learn and have fun!!
1st star We really enjoyed Science this week when we were working on circuits.
2nd star We had lots of fun during our Structured Activities when we were learning about Scottish Inventors.
Wish We wish Miss Duncan could keep working in our class.
1st star – This week we really enjoyed watching the pantomime of Aladdin performed by the Hopscotch Theatre Company. We thought it was very funny!
2nd star – We watched Hairspray on DVD with P4 and P5. We had a great time listening to all the songs and watching the dances that will be in our school show next year.
Wish – We are looking forward to our Christmas party next week as we have been working our ceilidh dancing in the hall.
We are delighted that we have successfully achieved the Fairtrade school award again. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Most recently, the RRS group, P5/4 & P5 were kept busy at the Christmas Fayre working on the Fairtrade Tombola stall.
1st star We really enjoyed structured activities this week and we are looking forward to next week.
2nd star Christmas dinner was great fun and everyone looked really festive!
Wish We are looking forward to the pantomime and the Nativity!
Over the last few weeks, P5/4 have been taking part in Farm to Fork/Local Area themed structured activities covering Literacy, Health & Well Being, Expressive Arts and Social Studies & Technologies.

Everyone in primary 4 have really enjoyed working with NYCOS over the last ten weeks. They have been learning all about rhythm and pitch and taken part in lots of different activities. Thank you to Mrs Gray for all her hard work.
1st Star: We really enjoyed going to the Cinema with the WHOLE school to see the Good Dinosaur!
2nd Star: We had fun at the Children in Need activities.
Wish: We are looking forward to dressing up as our favourite book characters next week.
