Primary 5 were fortunate enough to take part in a Rugby Festival organised by our Active Schools coordinator. They took part in sessions with Rugby Development Coaches and then played some games against each other. Unfortunately the rain ended the festival earlier than planned – typical Scottish weather!

P5 Rugby Sessions
Summer’s here!
Primary 5 have been making the most of the lovely warm weather this week and have enjoyed some outdoor learning. They went on a nature walk around the school grounds and made lovely bracelets using all the colourful things that nature had to offer.
They also took their spelling lesson outside, using chalk to practise their tricky words!

Egg-citing times at Boghall Primary!
Primary 5 have been egg-static at the arrival of our baby chicks. They have been glued to glow, hoping to catch a glimpse of them hatching live online! In class they have been working together as a team to transport an egg around an obstacle course, writing cinquain poems and creating news reports. They are looking forward to seeing the chicks close up next week.

Growth Mindset in P5
Primary 5 have been busy learning about what it means to have a Growth or a Fixed Mind Set. We have realised that sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone to push yourself!
We created characters with a Growth and Fixed Mindset so that we know the difference.
