Primary 6 were lucky enough to be chosen to help Chris and Patrick with the design and creation of the our new church memorial garden – we don’t want to give away any secrets but we had such a fun morning screen printing with Patrick, Bernie, Fran and Chris that we had to share some of our photos! We will keep you updated with our progress each week!

Primary 6 Basketball Festival
Congratulations to the 4 teams who represented Boghall at Bathgate Academy on Tuesday. All of our teams played very competitively and we managed to win 1st and 2nd place medals! Mrs Williamson, Miss Potter and Mrs Monteith were very impressed with our sportsmanship and respect for the other schools there, despite some very difficult referee decisions. Well done Primary 6!
Google Expedition visit with P6
P6 were lucky to be the first to have a visit from the Google Expedition team. We visited lots of different expeditions and had fun looking a Elephants, Giraffes, Sharks, Snakes, Volcanoes, Planets and Stars. We thought the best expeditions were the underwater ones. Sorry for being so loud (“THERE’S AN ELEPHANT!!”) but we had a lot of fun!! Thank you for visiting us Google!
P6 two stars and a wish
We have had a busy week at school with our poetry competition, Hairspray rehearsals, kilt making and challenge Friday!
The competition was fierce in P6 but with only three places for finalists Miss Potter had a difficult decision to make…. however congratulations to Nicola, Georgia and Jake who are through to the finals and will be representing our class – good luck! Challenge Friday was particularly challenging today, with lots of patience and teamwork needed. However this all paid off and P6 were the winners!

Congratulations Choir!
An amazing well done to the Choir who managed to raise an amazing £389 in just one day! Half of the Choir went to Tesco with Miss Napier and the other half to Aegon with Miss Potter and sang very loudly and very confidently to lots of people! Both Miss Napier and Miss Potter would like to thank the Choir for their perfect behavior and lovely manners when we were out representing our school. Also a huge thank you to Mrs Duncan for driving the minibus!
Two stars and a wish for P6!
This week we really enjoyed the Aladdin Pantomime (Oh yes we did!), especially when the characters were dabbing! We had fun outside measuring the distance between planets and the sun, but scaled down to meters instead of thousands of kilometers! Getting to watch the Nativity practice was really great too – well done P1, 2 and 3!
Star – Our awesomely decorated classroom door – great design idea Calvin and Jenna!
Star – Watching the pantomime!
Wish – We wish all the other classes a super merry Christmas!

Book day was super good fun, especially getting to dress up and have our parents watch us complete challenge Friday!
