Can anyone tell me what this Idiom means?

‘Don’t put all your eggs in one basket’

Sports Day in Classes M O and G

Yeah! we were delighted that the sun shone on Wednesday so we could have our sports day. Although the sun made it tiring we all tried hard in the races. The adults found it very tricky to capture us as we ran because we were running so fast.

Erin, Yoile, Logan, Aiden, Adam and Jayden found the sack race a challenge but enjoyed trying to keep inside the sack as they moved!

David, Cameron and Joe all had a few great ideas to keep the egg on the spoon steady for the race.

Cody has been practicing in the lead up to sports day and made sure he was warmed up and ready to go.

Charlie was determinded to beat Miss Garland in the sack race!

Steam Train Journey

On Tuesday some of the pupils from Classes M and O went to the Bo’ness Steam Railway to find out more about steam power and trains. The steam train was very different to the usual electric or diesel trains. It was very smelly and and moved slower.

In the museam we learned about how steam work, who invented them and where. We even had a go at driving a steam train and working the signal box. It’s a very tricky and tiring job.

we would highly recommend the Bo’ness Steam Railway for a family day out!

Class M

Dylan and Adam built a den out in the back playground using plastic sheeting, rugs and pegs.

For RME we went out into the playground sat in a circle and threw a can of juice to each other, when you catch the can we had to say what made us angry. We are like a can of juice when we are angry we start to rage ( bubble up) and when we open the can it bubbles everywhere but if we leave the can to settle ( or go and sit somewhere quiet) the can or ourselves will calm down.
