  • P3 Learning Highlights Week beginning 7th September

We have had a very busy and exciting week in Primary 2! This week in Primary 2 In numeracy, we have continued to practice our numbers to 30. We have worked hard figuring out the missing numbers that come before and after. In our topic, we focused on technology from when our parents were young. We sorted technology into past and present and even invented our own technology! In Literacy, we practiced the ‘ee’ and ‘oo’ sound and had lots of fun completing the different activities. On Wednesday, we had our first house groups with the full school, it was …

  • P1A Week Beginning 7th September 2026

Hello P1A families! Here are our ‘best bits’ from the Red Table (again we have had a number of absences this week so only have 4 reporting this time): Emily enjoyed our writing lesson this week where we put in to practise the 2 previous common words we have been learning, ‘I’ and ‘can’ and wrote a sentence that started this way.  Emily wrote, “I can play with Archie.”  Good job everyone! • Primary 7B Learning Highlights 11.9.26

Dear Parents and Carers, Another busy week for Primary 7!  In writing, we used a picture as a stimulus for an imaginative story. We concentrated on our core targets and self- assessed our work using these. Our class completed their diagnostic tests , to ensure everyone is working at the correct level to enter the Sumdog competition in September. We also learnt how to create equivalent fractions and the associated rules. In Science, we investigated Da Vinci bridges and their structures . We worked in pairs to try and create our own using lollipop sticks. Everybody enjoyed this, but some …
