There is a LOT of important information in this month’s Newsletter!
Primary 1 children will be sent home an order form if you wish to order the annual Primary 1 photo that appears in the Lanark Gazette.
Please check your child’s Homelink folder this week and if there is a white envelope in it, please return it as soon as possible. Thank you.
Can all parents please ensure that there is money in their Parent Pay accounts for school starting tomorrow.
All new Primary 1 children should be brought in via the main office with their parent or carer at 9:30am tomorrow (16/8).
Parents and carers will be able to go down to the class and take a picture of their own child before leaving.
Parents and carers must return to school for 2pm via the main office.
On Friday (17/8), Primary 1 parents and carers will drop their children at the pupil entrance gates to the playground at 9am and pick them up again at 3pm.
As you may know, Woodpark introduced a brand new spelling programme this year with the aim of making our children better spellers from a younger age.
We have created a brand new section on the website dedicated to helping you make sense of all the new terms, phrases and homework your child might be coming home with!
The school is open today despite the snow fall.
We are looking for volunteers to help with lunchtime clubs! Active schools are providing any training you may need and this will be in the form of certified sports qualifications.
The initial meeting to find out more will take place in school on the 17th January (Next Wednesday) at lunchtime from 12.30pm – 1:15pm.
