Welcome to our website. We hope this will give you a flavour of what’s going on in Woodpark Primary School, as well as giving you information about staff, classes, pupil voice and the range of activities within our school.
Within our school there are seven classrooms, nurture room, sensory room, library area, open area, gym hall and dining hall. Outdoors we have two outdoor playground areas, a large MUGA pitch, trim trail and Mrs Mochrie’s garden. We also have two nursery rooms: Willow room for 2-3 year old children and Rowan room for children aged 3-5 years. Each nursery room also has their own dedicated outdoor play area.
Work in progress! We are very excited to be making some BIG changes in school this year! We are creating a dedicated, welcoming family space for our parents and carers, with comfortable seating for chats and meetings, space for parent/carer workshops and family learning, a small play area for younger children, our Woodpark preloved uniform ‘rake and take’ and a food bank area. We are also creating a sensory circuit space where children can move, reset and get ready to learn; and we are refreshing our open area to provide dedicated breakout working zones, a construction zone and an arts and crafts zone!
