Book Bug
This year’s Book Bug sessions take place on the following dates –
6th December – Primary 1 – 3pm – 4:30pm
7th December – Primary 2 – 3pm – 4:15pm
12th December – Primary 3 – 3pm – 4:15pm
These sessions give great advice and tips for working at home with your child to help improve their reading, writing and numeracy.

Halloween Disco
The Woodpark Primary Halloween Disco takes place this Thursday (26/10) from 6:30pm until 8pm.
Entrance to the disco costs £1
All children must be picked up from inside the hall at the end of the disco!
ASD parents group
There is a parents group for children with ASD that meets every Tuesday from 9am-11am in the school. This is a very useful help for any parent who would like to talk, ask questions or find out more about ASD – both in school life and home life.
School show photographs
Just a reminder that there is strictly no photography or videoing of kind allowed at the school show. This is a child protection issue we must comply with.
School closures
A reminder that the school will be closed on Friday 26th and Monday 29th for the May Weekend.
The school will also be closed to children on Thursday 8th June for the election.
Fidget Spinners
As you will know we have a new craze!
If your child is bringing a fidget spinner into school could you please make sure that their name is somewhere on it.
This will solve the growing number of confusions and problems over who owns what!

Coffee morning
A reminder that the Enterprise committee is running a coffee morning for Diabetes UK on the 25th May from 10-11am.
Everyone is welcome to come. The entry price for adults is £1 and 50p for children under 12.
Tea and cakes will be on offer and any donations of home baking on or before the 25th will be greatly appreciated!
