A book has been exchanged by accident at our Big Book Swap. We are appealing for you to check your child’s bag and have a look for a picture book about MS. It is a story book about how to describe the condition to children and has been brought in by accident by one of our children.
The book means a lot to the family, so if you find it could you please return it to the school ASAP. If this could possibly be shared on the Woodpark Primary Facebook page run by the PTA we would really appreciate it.

This year’s Book Bug Session are as follows –
Primary 1 – 20th (Tue) from 3pm – 4:30pm
Primary 2 – 22nd (Thu) from 3pm – 4:30pm
Primary 3 – 27th (Tue) from 3pm – 4:15pm.
These sessions are really worthwhile and give some great ideas for supporting your child’s learning at home!
If anyone would like to order anything from the Book Club magazine that was sent home a few weeks ago, orders must be in before this Friday (16th).

An information meeting for people who kindly volunteered to become helpers in school will take place next Wednesday (7/11) at 11am.

The annual P1 reading workshop will take place tomorrow (25/10) at 6:30pm until 7pm (the first 30 minutes of the disco).
If you would like to attend, please drop your child at the disco then make your way up to the Primary 1/2 classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to find out how to best support your child’s reading and we would very much appreciate your attendance.
