A Whole Nursery Approach to Nurture
At our nursery, we take a whole-setting approach to nurture—putting positive relationships at the heart of everything we do. We believe that emotional wellbeing is the foundation for learning, confidence, and social development. That’s why our nurturing ethos is embedded across the entire nursery, in every interaction and activity.
Leading our nurturing practice is Barbara, our experienced Deputy Head of Centre, who brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. She is joined by Natasha, Clare, and Chelsea—each bringing their own warmth, insight, and dedication to supporting children’s emotional and social development.
A nurturing approach recognises the importance of early relationships and their lasting impact. Drawing on attachment theory, we understand that secure, responsive caregiving helps children to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. Whether through play, conversation, quiet time, or shared routines, we create a consistent and caring environment where every child feels seen and supported.
By fostering trust and promoting positive connections, we help children thrive—not just academically, but emotionally and socially too.
