Starting at nursery is an exciting time for all the family and we want this to be a welcoming and enjoyable experience for you and your child.
Settling into nursery will be a time for you and your child to become familiar with the nursery environment and staff team. Your first visit will be an opportunity to meet your child’s key worker and explore the playroom together.
On your second visit we will invite you to spend some time within our family room where we will complete the nursery care plan and allow your child to experience some time exploring independently.
By the third visit we will start to extend your child’s time until they are feeling comfortable and ready to start their nursery experience.
Every child is unique and we will always ensure that your child and you are comfortable with the pace of settling into nursery. Please don’t worry if your child needs that little bit extra time as we want this to be a fun and exciting time.
