Dining experiences at Jackton ELC are an opportunity for children to come together and explore a variety of foods. We use this time as an opportunity for children to develop social skills with the other children around them recognising that having the right environment is a crucial stepping stone in their development.
If your child requires an adapted diet for medical reasons, you can discuss this with a member of our management team who will provide you with an Adapted, medically prescribed diet, or intolerance registration form. This should be returned with an accompanying letter from a medical practitioner or dietician confirming the specific details of the diagnosis.
Any child that requires a Vegan or Halal menu can do this through our adapted Diet request form will be available from a member of our management team.
All lunches are based on nutritional requirements in the NHS setting the table guidance publication.
Nursery brunches, lunches and afternoon snacks are provided by the catering services for council nurseries in South Lanarkshire.
