Potted Sports Day

Tuesday 14th June was our potted sports day.Mrs Lawson and the pupils had planned this event and what a great job they had made of it.

We started with a warm up game of Cat and Mouse and then each group was able to complete a challenge at every station.

Everyone had lots of fun and the day was completed with a Daily Mile session with the parents.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success and to everyone who came along.

Open Afternoon for Parents

Tuesday 24th May was an exciting day for staff and pupils as the parents were invited to our open afternoon. This was the first time the parents have been in school for a long time.

The pupils acted as tour guides and showed their families around the school. Parents were able to see their class work and to look at the lovely displays around the school.

The children were also encouraged to do a paired reading session with their parents, so that the parents could see what the pupils do in these sessions.

The afternoon was a great success and it was lovely to see the pupils so proud of their work and their school.

A huge thank you to everyone for coming along on the day.
