What primary 6 do when primary 7 are away!

On Tuesday when the primary sevens were away we had our own fun day outside.

First we went on the walk and then we went and helped Duncan shovel top soil into the new veggie patch.

After break we headed for Michaelswood because it was such a nice day. We saw all the dinosaurs and daisy the cow and also sat on the mushrooms. We walked right up to the top and came back down again because we were all so hot.

When we got back down we helped Duncan again and went for lunch.

When we came back inside from break we went to the trees for our ERICS time, we really enjoyed reading up a tree!

It was a fun day!

Spring Task Force

Our end of term Task Force afternoon was a great success with all Primary pupils enjoying their Spring craft making.  Mrs Scott works hard to make sure we have lovely things to make and working in our teams means we can all help each other.

Our display is bright and colourful and will give us something beautiful to come back

to after the Easter holidays.

Primary 1 and 2 – Viking Topic

As our Viking topic comes to an end here is a selection of photos to show what the Primary 1 and 2 class have been busy doing.  It includes our visit to Lerwick to see Up Helly Aa, helping to make our own Viking longship which Mrs Nicolson’s son built for us, visits from our very own Vikings and one called Thorfinn Sigurdsson, taking part in Aith Up Helly Aa with Primary 2/3 and making Viking longships and longhouses for our displays in class.
