PLL programmes currently open

Building Racial Literacy – closes Friday 04 September

Pedagogy in Practice – Glasgow venue almost at capacity, so will be closing that option in the next day or so but we will keep Dundee option open until Friday 11 September or until it reaches capacity – whichever comes first.

Leading Professional Learning – opened today and closes Wednesday 30 September

Aspiring to Middle Leadership and Middle Leaders Leading Change are both now self-directed so can be engaged with at any time. There is no need for participants to apply to a programme cohort, although they will need an Education Scotland website account to use the Professional Learning Activities. Both of these programmes can be used as resources for those leading the professional learning of colleagues at local authority level, or within a setting.

Update on PLL Resources

Enquiry in Education has been refreshed for 26-27 and for those wishing to engage with enquiry there is a 2 part video workshop available on demand.

Coaching in Education has also been refreshed for 26-27 and participants can choose to register for one of three optional introduction sessions to help them get started using the resource. The first session takes place on Monday 14 September 2026 – 16:00 – 17.30 (click the link to register)

Leadership in Education continues to be a useful resource for school / setting leaders along with our Leadership+ offer, which is being finalised for 26-27
