SBLearn Mandatory Training Modules

SBlearn is the Council’s online learning platform. 

The new SBLearn site is up and running! Login details for the new SBLearn site will come via email from LearnPro. There are a small number of colleagues who won’t have access yet, but the vast majority of us are now live on the system. Historic records for core mandatory training have been uploaded, so your scorecard should be showing some progress on those. There’s an announcement on the site homepage relating to the historic records – please read that for more information.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be creating learning plans for specific groups that have role mandatory training to complete. If it’s relevant to you, those modules will appear in your learning plan marked ROLE.

When you first log in, beneath the Leaderfoot bridge on your homepage you’ll see a cheery message saying WELCOME, with your name and job role. Beneath that, there are two buttons – one to view your CERTIFICATE, the other to MANAGE ACCOUNT.

  • VIEW CERTIFICATE will generate a report showing all of your eLearning completions on the site. You can print that certificate or save it as a PDF document.
  • MANAGE ACCOUNT allows you to view and change your details, and to choose an image to use on your profile. You can change your username (email address) and password. There are also options relating to your department and job role, but please don’t make changes to those. The details should reflect your main post if you have more than one. If your job role changes it will be updated on the site when Business World is updated. *** 🚨SB Learn – Mandatory Training Update!🚨 ***

Our SBC mandatory training programme is currently under review. As a result of that, we have moved several modules out of the CORE training programme. For the time being, the only module that is mandatory for all staff to complete is the Prevent Refresher. We’ll give a further update on the mandatory training programme in the near future.
