Targeted Pupil Support

Welcome to the Targeted Pupil Support area of the Professional Learning portal.

We work in partnership with schools to strengthen practice, build capacity, and ensure that all staff feel confident in meeting the needs of learners. We are committed to enhancing universal classroom practice, and providing targeted, specialist support for the smaller number of pupils who require a more intensive Stage 3 level of intervention support.

Important Information

  • All offers booked through Business World will be delivered live via Microsoft Teams, unless otherwise stated.
  • All online participants are expected to:
    1. Have cameras switched on
    2. Actively participate
    3. Complete an online evaluation form following the session

Professional Learning Framework

πŸ”΅ Informed Level (Universal) Establishing a shared baseline of understanding, common language, and core practice for all staff.

βš™οΈSkilled Level Deepening practice to support confident application within classrooms and targeted support approaches.

⭐ Enhanced Level Extending specialist expertise for colleagues with leadership responsibilities or targeted inclusion roles.

This framework builds on existing professional learning and provides a clear, progressive pathway to ensure both breadth and depth of practice across all settings.
