Up on the roof !

Miss Murdoch’s class have been very busy challenging themselves and they have made these fantastic Lego models.

Well done, boys ! Your models look amazing.

P2, P2/3 and P3 are all looking after and caring for their caterpillars πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

They are thriving, munching away happily , growing really big and now they are starting to attach themselves to the lid of their container. Once they settle on the lid they will need peace and quiet to change into cocoons.

There are lots of silvery threads in the containers and this means that the caterpillars are healthy.

We are excited to see the next stage of development in the lifecycle of our caterpillars.

Just hanging.

Very hungry, happy caterpillars !

We have been keeping fit and healthy in our athletics lessons in PE and we are running every day for The Daily Mile.

Our smart pink tee shirts are to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Daily Mile in schools!

We have some new additions to our class. These very hungry caterpillars are already growing. The first two photos are from day 1 in P2/3 and the final photo is from day 3. They are definitely thriving.

What will they look like next week? πŸ›

It’s a hoot ! πŸ¦‰

We have moved on to Β learning about another style of writing and this term we are learning to write information reports. We are linking this to our reading because we highlight notes, make our own plan and then we write our information report in our own words.

This is a skill we will be using for the rest of our lives.

In our living and non-living things topic we are starting to think about planting , nurturing and growing things. What will we plant next ?
