Here is a suggested timetable for next week. Remember this is entirely optional and if you prefer to do tasks in a different order that’s completely fine. Email us if you have any questions.

Here is the second chapter of The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark. Listen to the story and discuss the answer to these questions with your grown up:

1. Where was Mr Barn Owl going?
2. What did Mr Barn Owl bring back for dinner?
3. How does the old lady describe the dark?

Hello Primary 2! We hope you’re all well.

As part of our new home learning we’re going read a short novel, The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark.

The chapter is called ‘Dark is Exciting’. How would you finish this sentence? ‘Dark is ….‘ Do you think it’s exciting, wonderful or spine-tinglingly terrifying? Let us know how you would describe the dark in the comments or send us an email.

Hello Primary 2

Well done on how hard you have been working on home learning over the past two weeks, we are very impressed by your work that you have emailed to us. We have spoken to most of you on the phone and have enjoyed hearing what you have been doing. On Monday we will post a new learning plan for the next two weeks and will talk to you on the phone again each fortnight.
