On the 7th October the EYC and P1 experienced the great outdoors all day long as they took a forest kindergarten approach to learning! Armed with toilets, tents, tarps and tasty lunches they explored the sights, sounds and smells around them. As they played the children were developing their fine & gross motor skills, risk awareness, listening skills, sensory awareness, maths & numeracy skills and language & literacy skills! A busy and fun day was had by all! 🌲🍁🍂🏕

Term 3 – EYC Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHs) programme
We have been learning about our feelings and emotions with Twiggle and friends. We have been learning the names and different types of emotions we feel and how to control and self-regulate our emotions when feeling angry or upset. We have worked very hard to create a PATHs display within the EYC, drawing pictures of our favourite characters and writing their names.
