Easter Service 2026

What a lovely way to begin our Easter holiday with a service at Dailly Parish Church led by P4/3. A morning of recounting the Easter story through song, drama, art and music from all the pupils.
It is that time of year when we look forward to the changes the year will bring and with that in mind the P7’s and Miss Connell received their leavers hoodies as they enjoy their final term at Dailly Primary.

South Ayrshire Body Essentials Project

Our Primary 6 and 7 pupils were very happy to receive their personal hygiene bags as part of our South Ayrshire Body Essentials Project. Primary 6 and 7 pupils were consulted on which products they would like as part of their Right to give opinions on issues that affect them(Article 12 from the UNCRC).
A huge thanks to our Parent Partnership who very kindly matched our funding from the South Ayrshire Body Essentials Project which meant that all of our primary 6 and 7 pupils were able to receive their personal hygiene bags.
Many thanks to Elise from Childsmile who donated toothbrushes, toothpaste and other Childsmile goodies for our pupils.
The feedback from the children was that they would love some perfume or aftershave, which Boots very kindly donated. A huge thank you to Susan McMillan and Gillian Lamb from Boots in Ayr. The pupils were so happy and excited to receive these as part of their bags.
Pupil voice:
‘We loved the perfume and aftershave’
‘We appreciate it a lot’
‘The hygiene bags were great and really useful’
‘It made us so happy. Thank you for all your donations’

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported our fundraising efforts.
We are delighted to share that together we raised an amazing £402.69! 🎉 Every penny will go towards helping those in need, and we couldn’t have done it without our wonderful school community.
Thank you again for your generosity and support – you’ve made a real difference! ❤️

Leavers Assembly

What an incredible end to our year, with awards for sport, music and learning. Then P4-7 entertained us with African drumming they had been learning with Mrs Gibson. P7 thrilled us with a dance recital with a difference. It was truly illuminating. Good luck to all the P7s and have a wonderful summer everyone.

Scottish Concert 05.02.25

The children performed Scottish songs and recited some Burns poems for their parents and carers at our Scottish assembly on Wednesday 5th February. Children were judged when reciting their Burns poems by members of the Carrick Burns Club who picked 2 runners up and 1 overall winner from each year group. We  would like to thank Davie Hunter who has been dedicating his own time to be in classes weekly on the run up to our concert to help the children to learn their Scottish songs.
