The whole school really enjoyed the talk and demonstration from Firefighter Campbell all about keeping safe with fireworks.

Lantern Making
Pupils from Primary 5 to 7 built lanterns for the Carrick Festival of Light. The theme this year is space 1969 and we decorated our lanterns with rockets, aliens and much, much more.

Athletics
Athletics
Pupils from Primary 5 to 7 represented the school at Girvan Academy at the cluster athletics meet. They competed in a variety of events and placed second overall. Congratulations.

Primary 5 worked very hard learning songs and information to present at the Harvest Assembly.
Together with the rest of the school they created art work to decorate the hall.
After the assembly they worked hard filling bags for the nominated members of the community with groceries donated by friends and families of the school and McColl’s who once again kindly donated a fantastic quantity of goods.
Mr Guthrie from the Food Bank in Girvan came along and spoke at the assembly, a few bags of groceries were donated to this worthy cause.
