Barr Primary and Early Years Centre

Parent Forum/Council

All parents are interested in their child’s education. Parents of pupils at Barr Primary School and Early Years Centre are automatically members of the Barr Primary and Early Years Centre Parent Forum.

The Parent Forum has a Parent Council to represent them. Our Parent Council is a very supportive aspect of our school community.  The type of things a Parent Council could get involved in are:

  • Supporting the work of the school
  • Fundraising
  • Organising events
  • Assisting in the appointment of Senior Staff
  • Gathering and representing parents’ views to the Head Teacher, Education Authority and HMIe

Parents are notified of all meetings and minutes of previous meetings are always available.

Please join us and have your say. ALL WELCOME!
