Parental Involvement in the Early Years Centre
At Barr Primary School’s Early Years Centre (EYC), we believe that parents and carers are an integral part of our learning community. We value their involvement and strive to ensure that they are as much a part of their child’s learning journey as we are.
Daily Communication
We maintain open and regular communication with parents and carers during drop-off and pick-up times each day. These informal discussions provide an excellent opportunity to share updates, address any concerns, and celebrate the achievements of our young learners.
Care Plans and Meetings
In addition to daily conversations, we also hold regular meetings with parents and carers to discuss Care Plans and other important aspects of their childβs development. These meetings ensure that everyone is working together to support the best outcomes for each child.
Family Learning Opportunities
We encourage parents and carers to engage in various family learning opportunities throughout the year. Whether these sessions such as PEEP or led by our own team, they offer valuable insights into the learning experiences of the children and provide a chance for families to learn and grow together.
At Barr Primary School’s Early Years Centre, we are committed to fostering a strong partnership with parents and carers, recognising that their involvement is crucial to the success and wellbeing of our children. Together, we create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
