Coronavirus – national school closure
The Scottish Government has announced schools across Scotland will close after Friday.
We are working with them to ensure continued support for children and families affected. We will provide more info as soon as we can.
Please follow the council on Twitter @RenCouncil or visit www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/coronavirus for the latest updates. Visit www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus for health advice.
Coronavirus – information for parents and carers
The government has announced that the response to Coronavirus is moving from ‘Contain’ to ‘Delay’. The advice right now is that schools and nurseries will remain open.
We are continuing to follow national guidance and our school remains open with business as usual. If this changes, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Please follow the council on Twitter @RenCouncil or visit www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/coronavirus for the latest updates. For health advice, visit www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus.
Well done
This week we have had a number of reasons to celebrate in our school community and we couldn’t be prouder of our pupils:
Inspired Art Competition
Mrs Kinney accompanied three of our four pupil winners to the Tannahill Centre where this year’s art competition winners have their work on display. They were invited along as VIP guests to the official opening of the exhibition and to see their fabulous pieces of art on display. If you are in the area, please pop in and enjoy the exhibition.
Netball Tournament
Huge congratulations to all of our P6 & 7 pupils who have shown commitment to our Netball team this session and enjoying well deserved success in this sport. Their behaviour, presentation and sportsmanship at the tournament on Monday was exemplary. We wish them the very best of luck in the final round next week.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
A huge thank you to Fr Paul and all the staff and families who have worked so hard to prepare the children in P4 for their sacrament journey. Tonight’s service was very special and one they will always remember as they continue on their faith journey.

A HUGE well done to our netball team. At our recent netball tournament we won 3 out of 4 games and will be progressing. The next tournament is on Monday the 9th of March in the hub.
Primary One Skoobmobile Visit
Primary one had a very exciting morning as the Skoobmobile visited us!
Firstly we learned about the differences between non-fiction and fiction books then we went on board the Skoobmobile.
While we were on board we got a story “Aliens love Underpants” which related perfectly to our new space topic!

Primary one – Paisley Book Festival
Primary one had a visit from the Paisley Book Festival today!
We were storymakers with Susan and Jess. We listened to a story about a magical thread called the Sma Shot, we made up our own story and we got to be illustrators!
