Parent Council Spring Disco – 19.4.18
A very big thank you to our Parent Council for running another very successful disco for our children. We all had a wonderful time!
We were delighted with our visit from James Goodfellow inventor of the first bank card who came in to tell us all about his achievements as a St Catherine’s pupil. James was delighted to hear all about our work with STEM and will come back and celebrate our STEM day with us in March. What an honour to receive a visit from a famous inventor from Scotland’s Engineering Hall of Fame. Anything is possible for a St Catherine’s pupil!
A huge well done to all of our pupils on a magical performance of Superstar. What a wonderful showcasing of your skills, talents and confidence! We are very proud of you all!
Keep your eyes peeled this week for photographs of your children being involved in many different maths activities and challenges as part of Maths Week!
Please try to come along to our parent workshops where you will learn some handy tips and tricks to help you with your child’s mental maths.
We look forward to seeing all of our children on Tuesday 15th August, doors open at 8.55am.
We look forward to welcoming our new P1 children on this day at 9.15am. We ask that you bring your child to the back door to line up and you are then welcome in to the classroom for a quick photograph opportunity and a chance to see where your child will be sitting. We look forward to seeing you then!
To ascertain likely demand and preferences of Parents/Carers taking up the increased early learning and childcare entitlement from 2020, the Council is undertaking a survey which will run from 12th June to 26th June. The survey will be available on line at the following link
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/JS7R3X5
Your support in completing this survey is greatly appreciated. Early learning and childcare may not apply to you now, but it may in the future and this will help us to shape services for our families in Renfrewshire.
The main door will be opened 15 minutes prior to the start of each performance of the Christmas Show; doors will open at 1:15pm prior to the afternoon performances on 13th and 15th and 9:45am prior to the morning performance on the 14th.
This year we are, once again, fundraising on behalf of the Paisley Foodbank Christmas Appeal. All donations collected for Christmas Show Programmes will be sent to the Paisley Food Bank. |
