Early Level – Life Skills
LIFE SKILLS are a great way of supporting children’s learning progression. They can help with literacy, numeracy, Health and Wellbeing and other subject areas. Life skills activities include activities you can do with your children which develop basic skills for life, but also supports skills for learning e.g. cooking, shopping, gardening etc.
These activities are also a great way for families to learn together and build positive relationships in the family.
Establishing Routines
It’s good for children and young people to have a routine as they are learning at home. This is what they would usually have at school and there are many benefits:
