Homework week beginning 26.10.20

Good morning, we hope you all had a relaxing weekend. The clocks went back an hour so you all got an extra hour in bed! This week will be fun and exciting as Halloween is approaching and remember you can come to school on Friday dressed up or in your own casual clothes. Buckets will be in the playground here you can hand in a £1 donation. Please find below homework tasks for this week.

Spelling Homework

This week we have introduced spelling groups. Each week we will learn different spelling rules and practice our spelling words at home as well as in class. At the end of the week on a Friday, we might sometimes do an informal spelling test with our homework words.  We will be using the ‘Look, say, cover, write and check’ method. Please find more information on this below. There are also other spelling strategies which can also be used to help improve spelling and these can be found below too.
