Information and application forms for free school meals are available from schools, registration offices and customer service centres. A form can be downloaded from the council’s website. A link to the Renfrewshire Council website can be found on the parent’s websites page. The menu is on a three week rota. Lunches are free for P1 to P5 pupils and £2.35 for P6 and P7 pupils.

8 Tips For Eating Well
- Base your meals on starchy foods such as bread, cereals, rice, pasta and potatoes.
- Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
- Eat more fish- including a portion of oily fish per week.
- Cut down on saturated fat and sugar.
- Try to eat less salt.
- Get active and try to be a healthy weight.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Don’t skip breakfast.
