Art Afternoon

We had a very creative afternoon today.   We learned more about toys from the past and how they are different and similar to our modern toys and gadgets.

We then painted some pictures of toys from the past. We had to try to use small brush strokes and be very careful in how we applied the paint. We also mixed paint to make the colours we wanted.

Our story of the week has been ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ by Judith Kerr.
We have loved reading this every day and watching an online story telling version as well as singing the tiger who came to tea song!

So this afternoon we also made tiger pictures using a variety of shapes. Our tigers look brilliant!
